Experts will discuss technology that can produce nonwovens from bio-based raw materials or recycled material at ANEX/SINCE

The whole world is talking about sustainability and Reifenhäuser Reicofil, the producer of nonwovens lines, provides solutions. The company will exhibit sustainably produced nonwovens for various applications at the ANEX/SINCE 2021 exhibition in Shanghai from July 22 to 24 (Booth 1 K 01). “In applications in the hygiene, medical and industrial sectors, we regularly set benchmarks for productivity and end-product quality,” explains Markus Müller, sales director of Reifenhäuser Reicofil. “In addition, we offer our customers the option to produce sustainable nonwovens from bio-based raw materials or recycled material. We support our customers in leveraging the opportunities offered by the global shift to sustainability – or in other words: Next Level Nonwovens.” For example, producers that use Reicofil lines convert up to 90% PET flakes from post-consumer waste into high-strength nonwovens for use in industrial applications. In the hygiene sector, diapers made from bio-based raw materials also represent an ecological alternative that can reduce the use of fossil raw materials. Topsheet material made of voluminous, soft, and industrially compostable high-loft nonwovens meets maximum hygiene requirements. Reicofil also offers solutions for the production of nonwovens for medical protective clothing. Reicofil Meltblown nonwovens for protective face masks provide reliable safety and help to combat the Covid pandemic worldwide. The quality of the nonwovens used must have 100% reliability. Reicofil technology therefore guarantees maximum safety, with filtration efficiencies of up to 99% (N99 / FFP3 standard), lowest quality fluctuations and high-reliability machine technology for maximum line availability. Since only a reduced number of Reifenhäuser Reicofil experts can attend the exhibition in Shanghai due to ongoing travel restrictions to China, online consulting calls will also be offered at the booth on Thursday and Friday during the show, starting at 11 a.m. local time.
